Emergency jeans help

I need a new pair of blue "normal" denim jeans. Must be skinny, or extremely skinny, medium to high waist to hold my tummy in, and available on the high street. Budget less than £50 as these are everyday jeans.

I have one hour this lunch time to hit the shops so please let me know where the best jeans are.

Astonishingly, M&S - especially good at skinnies with a flatteringly high waist

I used to love m&s 5 pocket jeggings in indigo mix as there were like proper jeans with seams etc but they changed them and they now look a bit cheap imo but I still bought them

If you're a size 12 or below, Monki on Carnaby Street have fab high waist skinnies.

Sadly I'm a size 14 :(..

How high are Top Shop Kirsten?

Just googled. They are properly high. I might make a lunchtime dash myself.

Are the Kristens still available in den blue - thought all sold out. I have a black pair and a camel pair and love them. Desperate for a vintage wash but been sold our for months.

Properly high! The are fab though! Always loads for sale on eBay, check Kirsten & Kristen both spellings are you can often get a bargain.

Are 40-somethings allowed through the door at Top Shop

Thanks - will head straight to Top Shop, and if no joy there, M&S. I'm not in London so can't do Carnaby Street but will have a mooch next time I'm in the area.

No joy at Top Shop :( Ended up in M&S buying a pair of jeggings.
