for a VERY limited time only as do not want to out self in rl

i have shoulder length curly hair at the moment but tbh its in quite shit condition despite my best efforts :( and am sick of it

i have been growing it for over 2 years from a short crop with long layers at the front, which was dead easy to maintain and took seconds to style

i am seriously thinking of going back to that style and need your opinions on what looks best. please look at my pics and tell me, HONESTLY, what you think, i will not be offended, promise

You look awesome, really chic.

MissWooWoo · 21/03/2013 15:55

meant to add ... with the short style

SayMama · 21/03/2013 16:01

Another vote for short, it looks lovely!

Curtsey · 21/03/2013 16:05

Oh my god woman you look amazing in your wedding day pics! Love it short. I think you should google-pics 'Jean Seburg in A Bout de Souffle' and take that into your hairdresser for inspiration.

Short hair really just WORKS on some people, you're clearly one of them. Have fun!

WoTmania · 21/03/2013 16:07

I think you have one of those faces that suits any haircut. I say SHORT!

mum47 · 21/03/2013 16:10

Deffo short, not many people get away with a cropped hairstyle but you really suit it. Go for it!

Pancakeflipper · 21/03/2013 16:12

Short and edgy.

You have a great face for short hair.

Long hair is pretty on you but you don't stand out.

nameuschangeus · 21/03/2013 16:14

Short. You can definitely get away with it, and you look gorgeous!

MoodyDidIt · 21/03/2013 16:14

what about something like

this

or this

so it would still be short but less "flattened down?" (as i agree about the flattened down look not being the best look for me)

Both look lovely. I think you are one of those really lucky people who suits either Grin

I think your face suits short hair but I personally think the style on your profile is not the nicest cut. Sorry - but you did want our honest opinions. I hope you are not cross. I think it's a bit too severe. I'd break up the fringe a bit.

I believe they call that type of cut 'choppy'. So google short choppy hair or choppy elfin hair and you'd get the sort of thing I mean.

It's just the fringe as a block that I would change to something more broken, iyswim.

EwanHoozami · 21/03/2013 16:21

I cropped my hair when PG with DC2 and have spent a very scruffy year growing it out. It was a PITA to style and unless I got it just right it ended up looking a bit Soccer Mom.

Sunshinewithshowers · 21/03/2013 16:26

I vote for short, It looks amazing on you.

It will always grow again, If you regret it x

Mumelie · 21/03/2013 16:32

Short - so suits you you lucky thing!

FriedSprout · 21/03/2013 16:35

Agree wi th most of the others, short def. suits you. However, for me, the style you had looks a little severe.
Would you consider a pixie cut, or just a bit of feathering around e face?

ClartyCarol · 21/03/2013 16:36

No not the Gwynnie or Posh! You need more of a pixie cut like Dolores O'Riordan when she was The Cranberries. I do like it on the top photo as well, with your DD, but agree in the one with the drink it looks a bit straggly.

Go pixie! Dead easy to deal with when you come to have a newborn.

ZolaBuddleia · 21/03/2013 16:37

Your short hair is great! I also like the top pic, the marcel waves are lovely. The longest is my least favourite.

MissEleanorLavish · 21/03/2013 16:39

Short definitely - much more youthful and loved the darker colour on you. Kind of reminds me of Louise Werner (is that right? Indie girl from the 90s) look.

INeverSaidThat · 21/03/2013 16:39

Another vote for short but softer and not fllattened down. It looks nice longer too though.

You looked stunning on your wedding day

Eskino · 21/03/2013 16:39

What about an Anne Hath ?

I reckon you could carry that off

ZolaBuddleia · 21/03/2013 16:40

What about the Katie Holmes one on this page?

INeverSaidThat · 21/03/2013 16:41

Dolores with nice short hair.

INeverSaidThat · 21/03/2013 16:43

I really like that Katie Holmes hair style
