I KNOW there are other threads on this, as I advanced searched, but so many links are out of date and I am so desperate that I was hoping I could justify another!

Right, DS is getting christened this sunday..... it is also his first birthday on sat and there are loads of adults going to his little tea party that quite frankly, I am intimidated by (long story....)

Please help me look gorgeous, put together and capable for both occasions??

The birthday tea I just need a really casual, thrown together look for. The christening, I have NO idea what people wear - like a wedding but, less??

I am a size 14-16, 34F boobs, 5ft 1..... I feel crap about myself at the moment for one reason or another, DS dad and entire bloody family will be at both events (we are not together) and to top it all off, my budget is practically nothing.

Anyone fancy helping? I am so pathetically grateful in advance, I have been in tears over this and I think its time I called in the experts! Flowers

The first and last ones are my favourites. I love the colour of the first one and the sleeves of the second.

The second one is a lovely dress, but would be wasted on a christening.
