Need some advice

Is 37 too old for a pair of Nike
Hi top trainers?

I know I'm supposed to be frugal but they are on a distant wish list but saw a pair in the Nike outlet with an additional 30% off - made them £31.

But dh says I'm too old and if I can find someone of a similar age wearing them he would buy them. But that they are not sophisticated

Sorry, I'd say too old for hi-tops. My 12yo DS wears them!

Not too old -- all the hipsters are wearing them.

I wear hi-tops all the time and im 32. I guess it depends if they will go with the rest of your wardrobe. im always in skinny jeans, leggings etc so they work well for me.

I think it depends on the high tops. I think converse or similar styles are fine. I'd say avoid anything patent, neon, metallic, garish or too chunky/padded though as that just screams teenager to me.

I'm 44 and wear hi top Vans and Converse, but not Nike. But, then, I haven't worn Nike at any age. If you like them, get them :)

I have white on white Nike Hi Tops and I have leather converse high tops. I am 37. BOOM!

I'm 33 and wear them, you're definitely not too old!

I'm 37 and recently bought a pair of Nike Razer black woven ones, I love them and worn them loads since I got them. They're black, very understated in a way, as black on black, so not too showy with the logo etc. wear them with skinny jeans or my boyfriend jeans (am going through a bit of a tomboy phase though...). or black tube/pencil skirt. DO IT!

I'm after a pair of navy blazers (wish list) but the outlet version were air max pink and blue.

Should I save for the navy blazers?

Save for the Blazers! I'm 37 and have got Blazers in khaki with a yellow swoosh - I LOVE them and don't care if anyone thinks I'm too old!

Or for dream wishlist have a look at the Puma Alexander McQueen ones. Hummerls also nice, and seen some good Supra ones online.

I'm 36 and I bought some at the weekend. Go for it!
