Do you spend lots of money on shoes from shops where feet are measured / shoes are fitted (Clarks) or do you spend half the price for shoes off the peg (Next)?

Always been to proper shoe shops but now my 6 yr old can tell me if the shoes fit do I still need to?

I still use Clarks as my DD's feet are very narrow, plus I always find the high street type shoes end up rubbing her so are a waste of money.

I do, however, have a Clarks foot measurer/ gauge so I measure at home and buy in the sale online.
