Question for handbag experts - any stylish 'backpack' for work?

Hi all

I am trying to assemble a polished and professional wardrobe for work, and decent bag/accessories seem really part of that. Suffice it to say I have used a beaten up rucksack before! I have been looking at handbags in some bemusement and can see there are lots if amazing ones, and i can see that a really good bag can complete a look.

i can't use a shoulder bag though, and need something I can wear in a backpack style - but really don't need an actual hiking backpack/rucksack. Is there any smart option out there?
