New coats needed

I need 2 new jackets and I need help choosing.

I need one "practical" for creche run, groceries, wearing with jeans etc. This is something onto what I need but I would like proper colour (though not green, I despise green). As you can see, it's sold out in the pink, which I would love. Having said that, I am afraid it will make me look like my mother - ie 30 years older.

I need one "nice" one for going to work, something onto this, but again, I would like colour.

I am 5' 4", size 18, seriously busty (34H in Fantasie/Freya), age 33, blonde, fair skin, broad in the shoulder. What my Granny calls "a fine strong girl". (Evidently that's a compliment Grin. I live in Ireland, but will be in Edinburgh in May for me holidays and stopping for a night in Chester (beside Cheshire Oaks) on the way back. Budget wise, I'm not exactly flush, but I can stretch for something that will last.

So, wise S&B mumsnetters, please dress me. And thank you all in advance.

Some online options for the 3 in 1?

Pink, £22

Raspberry, £50

A mac:

Pale Pink Mac, £75

Good luck! Could also phone the Joules store in Edinburgh to see if they have/would keep one back for you?

There are quite a lot of anoraky type things on the lands end outlet in a variety of colours. I bought a plain black parka for a rate walking weekend and it cost me under £50. Not my kind of thing but it was certainly very practical. Sizes are very generous indeed width wise but not over generous on sleeve length etc so might be quite good for your height and impressive frontage! I did have a brief look but the one I liked best was green so not linking!

Gap have a couple of different parka style things at the moment, including, I think one with a lining. Not sure about pink, but they come in navy. Probably not as waterproof as Joules though.
