Can't find it but wanted to ask; a poster bought the Halle perfume because it was supposed to smell like Coromandel, it apparently didn't so I bought a half bottle of Prada Amber, which is another one that is supposedly like it.
Which does smell really, really like it. Great I thought, keep the real deal for special occassions because it's expensive and hard to get hold of and I now have a sub for every day use.
Problem is on the dry down it's got an absolute definite smell of sour milk - basically it's unwearable. I'm wondering if it's just gone off (might explain why someone was selling half a bottle, as they've obviously well used it and presumably liked it so why then sell it?) basically does anybody know this perfume and know what I'm talking about or does it sound likely that it's gone off? I know, it might just be a certain note in it that I personally don't like but I really couldn't imagine why anybody would. I can dislike perfume but still appreciate why someone would like it but this really is quite foul and doesn't smell right. Thoughts?
