Vans and Converse sizing

I'm thinking of buying a pair of Vans or Converse not sure which one yet, but I was wondering are they big or small fitting as I would be buying online so I can't try them on first.

Converse are narrow but the length is fine. I wear UK size 9 (43?) and mine, which were bought in the US, say 'Men 9, Wo's 11, UK 9 EU 42.5' so pretty standard. Never worn Vans but they do look a bit wider/chunkier.

Thanks MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic, you're lucky you are a full size I'm a 7.5uk and I usually buy an 8 in Boots. And my feet are broad so maybe Vans would be better.
