Long-sleeve tees anyone?

Dearest S&Bers, can you help?

Am looking for some new long-sleeve tees for layering - have they become extinct since my last foray?

Ordered some from Gap - they come up way too big and baggy. I need tight and fitted! Can't see any in Topshop (they used to do them) and a quick search on Asos throws up nothing either.

Anyone know of any basic long-sleeve layering gems on that there high-street?

Peacocks! Only £6.00, I have bought loads in the past, they do round neck and v neck! I find them very comfortable and they keep their shape well.

Uniqlo.

CatelynStark · 12/03/2013 21:32

Lands End?

CMOTDibbler · 12/03/2013 21:41

Primark - nicely fitted and a good weight for layering

PullyWoolOver · 12/03/2013 21:47

Thanks ladies, I knew you wouldn't let me down! Will start with Peacocks and Primark and work my way up from there!

M&S did do them specifically for layering. Really fine and fitted. Have a look there

salcz · 12/03/2013 21:50

H&M and M&S for me!

DewDr0p · 12/03/2013 21:50

Just got some from Next.

Also agree with M&S - if you are feeling chilly then check out the HeatGen ones Smile - lovely fine layering thermal(!) tops

snoworneahva · 12/03/2013 22:02

Primark are fab - nicely fitted with long sleeves.

MrsKoala · 12/03/2013 22:07

i have loads of primark ones. they are great. lots of different colours. fitted. stretchy. i wear them to sleep in, as vests when cold, layered under jumpers, and as tops when doing exercises. i had a drawer sort yesterday and realised i own 18 Blush . You don't and nor does anyone probably need that many tbf!

FreshLeticia · 12/03/2013 22:25

none on Lands end -just been looking. I need fine-knit ones too. Prefer slubby cotton to plain colours. Any ideas?

TSSDNCOP · 12/03/2013 22:30

Oasis have some and they're reduced ATM

oxcat1 · 13/03/2013 00:37

Always swear by Uniqlo's Heat Tech. Have about 7 that I layer under everything!

PullyWoolOver · 13/03/2013 06:29

Loving that MrsKoala has 18 of the blighters Grin

Have checked out M&S website but looks like they only do limited colours (green) or 3/4 length sleeves at the mo. As I've recently moved to a shopping no-man's land I doubt the store near me will sell them - it's more likely to be a Per Una fest.

Have had a look at Uniqlo and they look good. Will swing by Peacocks/ Primark on Friday - if they don't have then Uniqlo it is!

Thanks for your suggestions all Grin

Uniqlo heat tech are great i have a couple of those too and for cold days they are the business but the sleeves are a bit short and the neck line of the scoop is quite wide - I like the sleeves to hit my wrists, I have longer than average arms though.

johnnycomelurky · 13/03/2013 07:33

I keep meaning to try these as when I used to love Hanes t-shirts and there are some nice colours. Might order one now...

johnnycomelurky · 13/03/2013 07:35

Oops - meant when I used to live in Canada I loved Hanes t-shirts

oxcat1 · 13/03/2013 12:01

Uniqlo sleeves certainly hit my wrists - but maybe I have particularly stumpy arms?!

Quite right about the broad neckline though - only on the plus side that means they usually don't show.

BobbiFleckmann · 13/03/2013 12:15

you n eed the Gap body range with elastene in it rather than the 100% cotton ones which are vast. Limited colours in body range tho'. The body range ones are super soft and currently 30% off - mail me if you wan the voucher code.
