got an appointment on thurs for my hair.
I really need some help - the salon never suggests anything...
I'm 43, have a reasonably funky job [own bizz] with regular event speaking. Wear glasses.

About 18months ago, I went short. Natural colour is mid dark brown [i'm a clear winter, don't tan etc].
But I am grey white around my face, so to avoid the badger look I had 3 shades of blonde through my hair, so it's now different shades of caramel :(

I'm toying with either:
Keeping short
Growing long again

I need a reasonably cool look which is very low maintenance [can't blow dry for toffee].

The main problem though is the hair colour. I really think i want to go dark again. I'm worried about the greys coming through all the time and having to keep it maintained at the hairdressers - which takes hours of my time as it is!

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm mid brown with some grey - like you used to have blonde highlights but found it too high maintenance. I now have an all over permanent colour (Aveda spectrum range) very close to my natural colour, slightly lighter. For fun I dip dyed the ends a bit lighter with a L'oreal ombré kit. Adds a bit of funkiness and can be grown out easily. A graduated bob is a good cut to have - if you wear it long you can blow dry/straighten or leave wavy.
