Hi,

I'm looking for some help. My Gran died this weekend and I now need to buy a dress for the funeral. I am a size 16, but am quite short at 5 foot 3 inches. I have a short pixie haircut. I have ok boobs and stomach, but my legs and my arms are awful. I have quite a tight budget, no more than £40 ideally. Please please help.

Oh may help if you know my age... I'm 25, so I want something tasteful and classy, but not too old for me! Thank you

Try Dorothy Perkins.
I bought a lovely peplum style black dress from there. It was Jersey fabric with a print but I am sure I saw a plain one too. You'd probably Want a cardigan over the top as the sleeves were capped. I'm a size 16 too.
Try their website.

Sorry about your Gran.

Sorry about your Gran Sparkly.

I have a dress I bought in January for a funeral that I didn't end up going to. It still has the tags on and is taking up space in my wardrobe. It's this one

It's a 14 but a big 14 and is stretch jersey with no zips/buttons. You're more than welcome to it if you think it'd work Smile

Oh and I'm 5'4 and it's knee length on me.
