Help me find some nice patent shoes for work please....

...I'm thinking with a mid heel, either court style or Mary Janes, to wear with trousers or dresses.

I have a pair of navy patent Mary Janes from Jones which need replacing, been looking at some lovely ones from LK Bennett but they are just too £££££.

Mainly for wearing to work.....

Honestly M & S have some really nice ones, lots of colours too. And cheap, so if you get fed up of them, it is not an issue. I have several pairs for work.

Thanks please thanks....the M&S ones do look nice, and so cheap.....i like the bright red ones. Never bought M&S shoes before, might give it a go, at £20 a pair it can't go wrong, even if they don't last.

The are not patent leather ..... are they comfy to wear without tights, just bare feet?

I always wear with tights, so can't help you with that I am afraid. I also just generally keep my shoes at work (a variety!) and change into them I get there and walk to work in comfy shoes! Also saves wear and tear on my work shoes.

also some v nice mid heel patents at Hush Puppies and Clarks too, if you don't want high high heels

Try Primark. Choose carefully though. I either go high end or Primark. Think inbetween is shite - hate Dune, Karen Millen etc.
