Veet/immac reaction

DH asked me to immac/veet his back for him as its getting a bit hairy. I suggested we do a patch test but no, he thought he'd be fine and just wanted it all off. Anyway this morning his back is very red with little red spots everywhere and he says its burning (he kindly woke me at 6am to show me even though I'm off work today)

Any suggestions of what he can put on it to calm it down a bit? I tried the tea tree cream that I use after waxing but apparently that 'really really stung'.

It's a chemical burn. Keep out of the sun!

I've used magicool on sunburn and that helped me but unless its a severe burn the discomfort should only last a day.

Oh thanks, think keeping away from the sun will be easy today! Will try and get some majicool and hope it gets better tonight

I get the same, I can't use anything like that!
