I am feeling as if my wardrobe is in desperate need of a yellow skirt. Ideally, I want it to be about knee length (but I am a shortarse) and either slightly full, or (even better) knife edge pleated.

Alternately, a more 50s type with, possibly, a black print might work too.

Any ideas please?

Too green; too fitted. Nice but not what I'm after.

The Whistles one would be perfect but too long and I don't do ebay!

I loved the floral Carrie skirt last year and wish I'd bought it. I'm hoping they do the knee length version in some bright colours again for summer.

Asos also had yellow, knee length pleat skirts last summer, although nothing on there at the minute.

Ah, another Remus Challenge Grin

Is this too sheer?

SavoyCabbage · 11/03/2013 07:52

I like the sainsburys one.

Sonotkylie · 11/03/2013 11:58

I like the Sainsburys one too. Kettlwell have a 'gold' sassy skirt - knee length, movement etc (sorry no links on phone) ... Sometimes gold is enough yellow!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/03/2013 19:21

Ooh some potentials there! BR one looks worth a gander, as does the AA one (but their quality is a bit dodgy, non?). Will also try and find the gold one - prefer to buy irl though, rather than online. I can be anything from an 8 to a 14 depending on the shop and style, so I've given up on online orders.

Nope to the gold. It looks a bit frumpy, I think - or would on me.

Come on, Tethers - I know you love a Remus challenge! :)

I know what you mean. Not 'wow' enough. I have an ancient yellow summer skirt which comes out every year for a while when I am feeling yellow, and it certainly fills a need. I' ll let you know if I find one but other than the Kettlewell, I've only seen yellow pencil skirts this year.

AWimbaWay · 12/03/2013 13:30

I'm not keen but it's yellow, from topshop.

Sonotkylie · 12/03/2013 14:20

Oooh Remus. Cyrillus have a plain yellow one.

AWimbaWay · 12/03/2013 14:33

fahri?

Sonotkylie · 12/03/2013 14:50

Sorry, just remembered you like real life. Love the Fahri one

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/03/2013 17:53

The Farhi one is gorgeous - almost perfect, although possibly rather more subtle than I want. Can you buy Farhi stuff irl?

Now if anybody can find me something like that, but a bit 'madder' and half the price, I will be a v happy bunny!
