Your thoughts on dungarees?

I have always liked dungarees. I wore them when they were last in fashion when I was about 17 and they looked quite cute. Would have worn them over the years but they have not been available. Am very tempted to get some now they are coming back in fashion but perhaps they are a bit mutton? Am petite and think I can get away with them like I did a denim dungaree style dress a couple of years ago. Just wondered what the mumsnet verdict will be on them?

I saw some denim dungarees shorts thingies in Primark yesterday (not for me, for my tall, slim 11yo DD ).
She was Hmm and didn't want them.

I love dungarees but worry about the hassle of going to the loo and how unflattering they would be to my backside Blush
