I usually bite my nails, but dh has bought me an eternity ring for our 10th anniversary, so I thought I'd grow them
They grow in really strong and I have no problems with flaking or breaking.....but....the tips aren't that white like they used to be when I was younger. My hands are in water a lot and the tips are sort of yellowy and you can see through them a bit.
I paint them with pale pink varnish, but you can still see that they're not that nice underneath.
I also bought some Sally Hansen Insta Brite Nail Whitener, but that's not that good either.
What can I do to improve their natural appearance or is this just part of getting older and doing too much housework?
