Scaramanger bag

It arrived today and its great . The leather is thicker than I expected and therefore stiffer.

Is there a product I could use to soften the leather a little? The only product I can think of is saddle soap, but don't know if this is suitable for a bag.

Any advice?

I have a purse from there. Assuming it's the same leather as mine with an almost nubuck finish I would say only use will soften it. I would imagine products (other than protective spray) might stain.

Clarks premium leather cream is really good. I had a scaramanga satchel before, and that cream worked really well - took away the dry look, and gave it a slight 'shine'.
