COS online are just having a larf aren't they?

It's always been hard to make out their clothes on their online site but this Hitchcockian lighting is crazy. Is it just me or is it nigh on impossible to actually make out what they're wearing? (You'll have to scroll down past the first few images to get to the ones I mean)

Not the lighting, but has anyone noticed Zara have adopted a similar style on their website? I mean modelling/expression/scraped back hair/ever-so-slightly-cranky/hungry look on the models?
