Any tips for makeup / skincare / haircare to help a 39 yr old sleep deprived mummy look radiant? I'm normally a Liz Earle & Bare Minerals fan. Just started using Elemis Pro Collagen Marine cream. Hair is dry & a pain to style, hands & feet really dry!

Oh and I need a new hairdryer!!!

Hairdryer - I've had the Parlux compact ion since Xmas, it's brilliant.
Hair - Kerastase Elixir, pink one, use before drying.
I use BM too, Neo Strata for skincare (glycolic stuff).
Lotil for hands.
Also peels every now and then are good.
Happy birthday!

Oh this sounds very familiar to me! Well, apart from the boring stuff - more water, more sleep, more sex ..... I would suggest as follows:

Get eyebrows threaded into a lovely arch. If they're light in colour, have them tinted. This will take years off you.

Use a muslin facecloth with your cleanser then, obviously depending on your ethnicity, maybe a quick layer of gradual face tanner.

I'm quite pale and I hugely recommend Bobbi Brown cheek colour stick thing in sheer coral for a bit of radiance, and Bobbi Brown under eye corrector in Bisque for looking like I've had some sleep.

Ooo thanks silvermoon - have birthday money so might investigate Bobbi Brown on Saturday. Also was considering that hairdryer!

Blusher. I can't leave the house without it on nowadays (39 and sleep deprived too!). I use bobbi brown too. Earlier in the week john Lewis had 10% off bobbi brown.

Speedos - what peels do you use?

Glycolic, I get them done at a clinic, £75 a pop. I had awful cystic acne about a year ago and had a single session of laser treatment to zap them followed by a peel. Not only did my skin clear up but it just looks loads fresher and texture is great. I get a clinic peel about every 2 months. Also use the products which helps too.

I have used home kits before and they do improve the texture, clinic ones are much stronger though.
