To those of you who bought GA/SA/other at-home peel kits from Bravura et al, please may you post answers to the following if it's not too inconvenient:
- Which treatment did you try? (Type of acid, and concentration.)
- How long did you use it for?
- What effect did it have for you (if any)?
- Who would you recommend/not recommend it to?
I bought the 30 and 50% GA from Bravura, and used it for 2 cycles of 6 weeks. It made my skin clearer and lightened my blemishes, but I stopped using it for the summer (due to concerns about burning) and lost my brush so I never got back into it. I would recommend it to people with acne-prone combination skin, and I will definitely be using it again once I have ordered a replacement brush.
NB - I'm asking for personal interest because I wonder if one of the other treatments would be better suited to my requirements, and thought it would be good to get some fresh opinions from you guys now that the novelty of sizzling has worn off and the effects have become more apparent.
