swimsuit for small bust

I need a new swimsuit but am only a 34aa and want something padded that gives me more curves up top than I actually have. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good padded swimming costume?

I've had alarming luck with Tesco and Primark last summer (not looked this year yet), who'd have thunk it?

Although it's outside my comfort zone, I've come to realise that small triangle tops suit me better than bigger cups with loads of padding (you can still get padded triangles though).

Thanks Carrie, I've had a padded/shaped triangle bikini top before and would def go for another. Thing is I really want a one piece to go swimming in the local leisure centre with dcs. Not brave enough to wear a bikini there! So far I've had the usual cups fit/body too small or cups too big/body fits experiences. I'm a size 12 everywhere else and about 5"9

Bump. Anyone else?

Ah in that case, I've been wearing JL shape wear type swimmers for years. Pricey, but have washed and worn well. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-imperial-spot-bandeau-control-swimsuit/p157066

I think they have a few different colours, and definitely created a shel for my tiny boobs lol.

How about a tankini then you can cover up but buy different size top and bottoms?
By the way, have you seen the bra intervention thread? According to the modern way of measuring its pretty much impossible for anyone to have an AA cup. You might want to have a re measure

Thanks Carrie, that's a nice one. Stupidly I didn't think of looking at JL but will give that one a try.

And thanks ceeveebee. I have just looked at the thread and will be measuring myself again. Maybe i'm a DD after all but I doubt it!

Some lovely bikinis here

StatisticallyChallenged · 07/03/2013 14:32

You might just be surprised Lucy!,

lucylookout · 07/03/2013 16:34

Here's hoping (although it won't actually change the size of my bust will it? ;-) )

The right size will actually make a big difference to how your bust looks. You'll be surprised!

Bunbaker · 07/03/2013 17:56

Debenhams have loads of swimsuits in at the moment and a lot of them have padding where you need it.

StatisticallyChallenged · 07/03/2013 17:57

A better fitting bra will "gather" your bust a lot more so it will look and feel better I suspect. Debenhams are quite good for swimwear though IMO, as are John LEwis
