I have just found out I have an interview next Tuesday. I haven't worked since 2005.

I need an outfit.

Please help.

Thanks

To prepare the ground for the experts who will be along can you tell us what sort of job it is and a little about your proportions?

withaspongeandarustyspanner · 05/03/2013 16:11

Oh yes. It's a job in publishing - production controller.

I'm a size 14 - I kid myself I'm an hour glass but in reality, after 4 kids, my waist is hard to find. I' 5ft 7in. Dark hair - I avoid yellow - it makes me look ill.

I'm also 39. Anything else you need to know?

:)

How about a wrap shirt to give definition like this a pair of ankle length straight cut trousers a bit like this or shorter and a pair of great pointed toe kitten heels in a colour or print like these
Sorry not the best versions of the look I mean but gives you an idea. Big necklace would complete the look!

Thank you gruffalocake. I love all of those things and that's the sort of thing I was after. I've found these shoes Do you think they are too pink?

I think they are great. As long as the rest is fairly conservative I think punchy shoes are the way to go. Can't really go wrong with Zara Smile

Fantastic - thank you. The LK Bennet ones are beautiful - but not in my size - besides, the Zara ones are half the price :)
