...and did a pretty reasonable job! So much easier than I thought it would be. Look on youtube at a tutorial, dig around your sewing box and you're away! I'm fairly cack-handed and I managed it

Ooh well done! I tried to do this the other day and although successful at removing hairs, I couldn't do the left side quite well!

I had my eyebrows and tache threaded in debenhams once, I wanted to harm the poor woman who was doing it but couldn't see through the tears!

No chance. I only pay £5.50 to get it done, not worth the grief to do my own!

You're all brave if you get your upper lips threaded! Sod that!

I get my eyebrows threaded and can just about bear it but have my upper lip waxed - painful but over in one quick rip!

Need to reverse the direction for the LHS juney an have you hand flatish against you face.
Thanks for the medal Queef. I don't find threading painful - except when I was pregnant then it hurt like bejesus. I am a right wuss at other things though. My SIL can't get threaded because she finds it agonising and she is the most stoical person I know.

Where do you go CelticPromise? Any places in SE London that are that cheap?

NW London, just a local hairdressers where the beautician rents a room. Lots of Asian women have threading done so anywhere with an Asian community is a good bet.
