I bought the luminescence firming one on friday after girl matched me in store, don't know if it was the light in the shop or if she gave me the wrong one but when I put it on myself it was awful, really orange. So... do I go back and will they refund or give me a different one? is it feasible to ask for a sample to try at home first if they will refund? help

Yes of course you can take it back and ask for a refund, I always ask for a sample to take home, I have no idea how they expect to colour match under shop lights anyway!

I found that the EL woman in Boots point blank refused to sell me a full bottle until I had taken away a very generous sample size to try at home for a while. She said herself that natural lighting would be different and that she didn't want to sell me anything until I'd made sure it was the correct colour. the sample lasted me a couple of weeks, too. V generous and nice to encounter the opposite of pushy sales techniques!
