Hi there, not a very exciting subject I know, but I have been looking for a product similar to this (link below) and can only find the product abroad with huge shipping costs. Does anyone know if I can find a supplier here in the UK? TIA

These were called dress shields when my Mum was making her clothes.

She used to get them in a fabric shop - maybe they still sell them?

Or you can make them by cutting a circle in fabric (stretchy and absorbent in good colour for the garment you wish to protect) and sewing a moon shape into the diameter fold. Then cut out the area between the diameter and your moonscape sewing line. Viola! a crescent shape which you can easily sew into your clothes, and remove to wash.

Hi Venus, thanks for your response. I just wonder if you would need to use two kinds of fabrics, one that is absorbent and another one at the back that would not let the sweat go through IYSWIM... Or i wonder if you could find a fabric that could do both (be absorbent without letting the sweat pass through)???
