Need a really good vitamin c serum

I am looking into buying a really good vitamin c serum, not too expensive but not cheap either, any recommendations please. Thank you.

I use the body show one, but you may be looking for something a bit more spenny

Skinceuticals - it is pretty expensive but does last a long time and is very good.

I alternate CE Ferulic with Phloretin CF. I get sample sizes from an Ebay store, which I have been buying from for ages:

The sample sizes she has are 4ml vials. You only need a few drops and each one lasts me over a month!

Does this work ? If so what does a VIT c serum actually do ? Brighten the skin ?

I use the Phloretin CF and would really recommend it. I was probably using it for different reasons than you though. I used it, and a prescription cream, to sort out acne (was really desperate and so prepared to pay the high price tag). It did really improve my skin generally though. Going to investigate cardo's source. As she says, it lasts ages.

mcnally I am using it for just general brightening and anti ageing, starting to see fine lines appear, so hopefully it will be good for that. I am also thinking of buying the obagi vitamin c 15%, would that be any good? or would you say the phloretin is better?

Have you tried RoC Wrinkle Filler for the fine lines?

cardo no never tried roc products, I have heard vitamin c is really good for fines lines, thats why i was looking to buy some.

I've not come across the Obagi one so can't compare them unfortunately. I've been pretty happy with the one I've been using so haven't felt the need to try others (partly because i know it works well with other products I use). I'd try to get a sample of either and see how you get on and then try the other if you feel it could do better. The Obagi one has a higher Vit C level so maybe build up to that one? If you do try both I'd be interested to see how you get on though.

The combination of RoC Wrinkle Filler, the 2 Skin Ceuticals serums and some very reasonably priced moisturisers from La Roche Posay have done utter wonders for my skin. Never felt so smooth, even and soft. And never looked so clear.

I have only used it twice, but my skin already feels so radiant, fresh, smooth and dare i say young looking, even my Husband commented .

Make your own, far cheaper and more effective than anything else. Search vitamin c on makeupalley and you will see the rave reviews and recipes for making it. Quite amazing, and not what the cosmetics companies want us to know about!!!

gd1976 - I agree. There are simple recipes on the net. Much more effective IMO.
