Any top coats which really do stop chipping? Really like painting my nails. Really don't like the chipped look after just one day.

Seche vite is brilliant. Ime lasts a whole week without chips. Essie Good to Go is also great - dries really quickly.

I think no7 is fab.

Hated nails in one though, will just stick to their colours

The no7 is really, really good, and cheaper than seche vite. Doesn't shrink either.

cazza40 · 03/03/2013 16:58

Seche vite is the best imo

I am busy falling in love with my Nails Inc basecoat and topcoat. I painted my nails a deep, glossy red yesterday afternoon. Today I have (among other stuff) washed up a Sunday Roast with no gloves and cleaned out the GP's hutch. So far no scratches or chips and as glossy as when I painted them.

Essie "good to go" is absolutely brilliant! It dries nails in a few seconds, my manis and pedis last for ages. www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=80772/Good-to-Go---The-Fastest-Drying-Top-Coat/Essie/Top/Base-Coats

Another vote for Nails Inc here. I use their caviar basecoat, two coats of varnish and a topcoat and can make a manicure last a week at least (and I do some heavy duty gardening!)
