Can anyone help with slippers for 8yo DS?

I need to find some size 2 slippers for DS for a school trip. I don't like backless slippers or those huge pufffy things in the shape of animals etc but I don't want him to have "old man slippers" either. Spent hours going round the shops in Kingston to no avail. Any suggestions?

What about getting some crocs to use as slippers? That's my DS's preferred option

Yeap, that would have been an option but I have just come across these and DS has fallen in love with them so I am now £40 poorer...
