Before I drink more wine Grin
My foundation is flaking when I put it on. Well making my skin look flaky. I'm going out in 90 minutes and need foundation on
Have tried so far - philosophy primer and clarins beauty balm with no luck
Now sat with thick layer of beauty balm on to try to help. Any ideas?

Have you tried exfoliating then a hydrating face mak?

Nombrechanger · 01/03/2013 19:31

Mask

Exfoliated earlier Sad
Will root for face mask. Skin seems fine not flaky at all until I put foundation on

Nivea always works for me and i have dry, flaky skin.

Can't find a hydrating mask (usually have oily spotty skin) but found some steam cream so have a layer of that on! Grin

Don't leave too long after applying moisturiser before applying foundation - and this won't help you tonight, but switch to a more rich foundation.

Well I swapped foundations and it helped a bit. Usually use illamasqua skin base but that was the flaking one. Went for urban decay naked skin instead

Are you perhaps leaving your Beauty Flash Balm to dry too long before applying foundation? That will cause "rolling" or flaking. You need to apply foundation whilst BFB is still freshly applied and moist.

No good now but you need to invest in some Cicaplast by La Roche Posay - I've not had flaking skin since I started using it.

mine does this if I use primer, I am clearly doing something wrong with it Sad
