Converse??

Ok, so I'm totally inept when it comes to fashion. I want a pair of Converse to wear with jeans etc but can't decide which ones; I like them all!

So, which ones would you choose? Which colour? Please help, this could be an expensive mistake!

I've got the Catwoman ones on right now, with skinny jeans and a stripy top. I put them on the other day (after a day in heels), and met my boss for a catch up after we'd spent the day at a very formal conference. He clocked them, said 'cool shoes' and then did a double take saying 'tell me you've not had those on all day!' err no, but I think they'd work with a suit too

My son has Batman ones which are great. I treat myself to a new pair every year in the spring. Hadn't really thought about it yet. Off to have a look....

I've also got bright red ones too, I love the Converse!!

Am thinking of getting some Converse hi tops. I walk a lot - how comfy are they? I always worry the soles aren't very cushioned

IMO you do need a cushioned in-sole in converses.

I have burgundy converse that I got recently (lo tops) and they are utterly lush, they go with lots of stuff too unlike a low of my other pairs. Darker shades generally seem more versatile than lighter ones.

I buy mine from eBay.

got some light brown suede ones a couple of weeks ago for £22. they look like new

I got mine in tkmaxx which at the time had a large selectiom so i sau look there and possibly save yourself some money

I designed my own. I went a bit too far though and would probably be more subtle if I have another go!

Lo-tops with slim jeans. I think hi-top are a bit teenage Emo.

Maybe for grey because it's going to be Spring and then, hopefully, summer! Grey is an 'all-round' colour that you can wear in any season. I love the Navy, and they would definitely go with anything - but in the summer they might look a bit too wintery?
Once you fall in love, then you can start collecting seasonal colours :) I've recently managed to get myself a gorgeous coral coloured pair - can't wait 'til summer now! :)
I definitely need a Leopard print pair too - but can't find them for less than about £50/54!

I have grey, lo-tops, with rather lovely cream laces with little flecks of colour. Like the idea of pink or aqua for the summer. Think they do them

I have navy, light purple, teal and vintage red with black skulls hi-tops :o. I used to have dark green and purple too.

Lo top grey ones for me

I have grey lo-tops, go with everything. I especially love a lo-top with a neat denimmini skirt.

I really want some mustard lo-tops, but can I find them anywhere? Can I bollocks.

I have black and white skull hi tops, classic black hi tops, pink and black double tongue low tops, white low tops, pink low tops (but they aren't the classic Chuck Taylor style. They have padding).

There's a pair that is escaping me at the moment.

Ahh my pink low tops are Star Players. Very comfy.

I will be wearing my high-tops with skinnies, but I don't mind looking like a teenage emo, K Stew is one of my fave dressers!

Yes, I' ve decided on the los, probably grey but maybe with the double tongue.

I think DD, who wears deep red hi tops, with skinny jeans and karki trousers would wallop you for the EMO.

High tops just solve the sock problem.
