Can anyone explain the difference between cool, clear, vivid and deep winter colouring please?

Some of those might be the same thing, so apologies :)

Svanhvitr your colouring sounds very similar to mine. Some US sites call us 'bright winter'. I did my research for lippies on various US sites and I got 'lustering' from MAC and 'plumfull'. Both look nice, not as bright as the HoC lippies and I'm happy to wear them with min makeup on. Although I have to say that the bright red HoC lipstick brings my eyes out more.
Lustering is a richly pigmented bright fuschia pink but as it is a lustre formula it is not as intense.

Can you link to the H&M pine sweater? I can't find anything in pine green.

I wonder if I should have my colours redone with a HoC...I had a CMB years ago & was horrified to discover all the pinks, lilacs, pale blues I'd been wearing where so wrong.

I'm a deep autumn..dark brown eyes, dark brown hair (then) pale but warm toned skin. My colours are brown (which i now loathe) & all the earthy warm palette. I dont like them at, finding them drab. Sad

I've now got highlighted hair (trying to be Jennifer Aniston) & think I've got a bit of 'clear spring' going on Grin

Any advice ?

Maraki thanks for the lipsticks, I love mac lippies so will check those two out. Just had a look at h and m online and couldn't find my pine green jumper. I got it off the sale rack a month or so ago and it was the last one, so I'm guessing they won't do it any more. H and M do look to have some lovely emerald things in ATM though, and you can sort everything by colour which is handy. not sure if this link will work...

This dress is an absolutely gorgeous pine green, but it's hard to tell online. It's very short though.
