PJ's with decent leg lengths

Can anyone recommend where I can but a nice pj set from where the bottoms have longish legs? I've found loads of lovely sets but they all seem to be short in the legs. I've even resorted to buying men's bottoms from Topman as they have a good length on them, but would quite like to but a nice women's set now!!!

No idea, but watching with interest! Whenever I seem to buy some that are long enough, after a couple of washes they end up above my ankles again. :( I had actually given up and just bought some nice fabric to make my own, but if there are any good reccomendations I'll be happy to try them out.

I know, same here. Then you end in with ankle swinging pj's!! That's even happened with my Topman ones.

I bought 2 pairs in primark yesterday. Didn't open them up and look at the length of the legs or sizing because they were very cheap £8 a pair. When I got them home the leg length was VERY long. I'm 5'3" and I reckon the leg length would suit an almost 6'0"! They almost fitted DH whose over 6'0".

H&M

I have has pj bottoms from all the supermarkets, primark etc and am always disappointed by the length after the first wash.

I bought some brushed cotton tartan ones from H&M just before Christmas and they're great :) They did shrink slightly I think, but still long enough (I am 5' 7'' and they cover my heels, just touching the floor at the back).

Yes yes! All my pjs suffer the same fate. Even the posh hush ones in 'long length' ended up flapping around my ankles...

feetheart · 27/02/2013 09:41

Watching with interest, and cold ankles/calves

soaccidentprone · 27/02/2013 09:51

next?

soaccidentprone · 27/02/2013 09:52

these?

I get mine from Next with the longer leg size.

badtasteflump · 27/02/2013 09:55

I get my pjs from FatFace. The legs are nice & long on me & I'm ft 10.... Most of their pj bottoms have turn ups which I don't turn up IFSWIM.

Actually all their clothes fit my shape really well (ie a tall person Grin)

Loubyloulou88 · 27/02/2013 11:00

Ooh lots of great suggestions, thanks! I didn't know Next did PJ's with options for leg lengths. I'm 5'8, so not exceptionally tall, but just can't stand having them flapping about my ankles!

My White Co PJs are long enough for my long legs.

wickedfairy · 27/02/2013 13:13

I get my pj bottoms from long tall Sally, they are about 35''. I am 5'8" but hate ankle flappers, they are a wee bit too long but not much. They also wash well.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 27/02/2013 13:16

Hush do longer length pj bottoms

Swiddle · 27/02/2013 22:17

My White Company pjs have (too) long legs. I have to hitch them up high around my waist to stop me tripping on them but then again I am 5'4".

I might try white company. My fat face and hush ones shrank in the first wash, and became ankle flappers immediately. Perhaps I am washing them wrong - but the way I see it, if you can't put pjs in a standard wash, they're not fit for purpose!

foxysocks · 28/02/2013 09:56

i'm 5'9 and have found gap and the white company good, although the quality of the latter has declined in recent years, mine are quite old now and still going strong.

Yoghurty · 28/02/2013 10:02

I find a similar problem with pj bottoms and I'm a short arse!
They always seem to shrink after a few washes and they are flapping round my ankles Hmm

However, a few weeks ago I bought 2 pairs from Primark- one pair on their own, another as part of a set - and they are significantly longer than I've ever seen them. (Far too long for me at 5'2" in fact)

They have worn and washed well so far and hopefully I won't have to replace them for a while!

ScooseIsLoose · 28/02/2013 10:11

M&S usually have a standard leg length and a longer leg length

dothraki · 28/02/2013 10:23

Yep I got some from M&S -thanks DH - long legs and long sleeves. Only problem is I never wear long sleeves in bed - and I'm tiny Grin - they are very soft and pretty though
