Where to buy basic vests in bright colours?

I want 3-4 vests in different bright colours. I want them to be cotton and quite long and not to have spaghetti straps. I thought this would not be a difficult thing to find but I'm struggling Confused Any suggestions, please, wise women?

I saw some in BHS of all places when I was in there looking for a serious swimming costume. Good thick cotton.

Primark

Gap have some almost neon bright ones (nicer than that sounds) and are a good length (long body here, finding vests long enough is like a hobby for me!)

Dotty p's have some 2 for £9 ones that are lovely. Come in an array of colours and are longer.

White Stuff do some really pretty vest tops.....have put it a link but there are loads of different styles on the vest pages. Have a look www.whitestuff.com/granola-vest-prod404926_lumo_pink/

I bought a bunch of vests from Primark last month that fit your description exactly. Think they might have been on a '3 for £xx' type offer, actually (very cheap) and they seem to be lasting fine in the wash

EarlyInTheMorning · 27/02/2013 07:05

American Apparel. Every colour and shape imaginable!!!!

TheWombat · 27/02/2013 12:07

This is very un-MN, but if you can borrow a torch you could try Hollister. They have coloured layering vests in good colours, and they're long, soft, and wash and tumble well. Usually about £12 each I think.

Just got some from Next. they seem quite nice but haven't washed them yet.

neriberi · 27/02/2013 13:41

Uniqlo, really good quality and they wash brilliantly.

Yotamsrazor · 27/02/2013 13:51

I like River Island's. They're long, don't have spaghetti straps, wash and wear well and are about £8ish. Their vests and accessories are the only thing I like in there these days.

catlady1 · 27/02/2013 13:56

Another vote for Primark. Loads of colours, wash well, £2.50

thenightsky · 27/02/2013 19:34

I don't know where everyone is finding Primark Cotton ones coz whenever I look they all have lycra in them, causing them to cling to every horrible bump and bulge Sad

MimsyBorogroves · 27/02/2013 19:38

Primark, bizarrely! I usually hate the place, but I've got 5 of their vests which I bought as cheap holiday wear 7 years ago for around £2 each. They still look brand new and they've been worn/washed loads, including as breastfeeding tops when feeding both DS1 and 2.

EMUZ · 27/02/2013 21:14

Esprit usually have some in

MrsGP · 27/02/2013 21:17

I've had some nice bright colours from GAP although not recently.
