Looking for a navy shift dress for work

Help please! I could really do with a navy shift dress for when I go back to work. I had my eye on one in Next as, for some reason, their shift dresses always seem to fit but the one I tried on today had some weird bit of fabric below the waist which bulged out & looked really odd. So, something similar... and ideally for a similar price (so less than £60). I'm a pear shape and only 5'4". It has to be pretty sober as I work in a very traditional office.

Thanks

If you can, I'd try to stretch to one of these: fabrics are fantastic, wash impeccably, great cuts, and impressive markdowns. I can't praise them enough. And I don't work for them (but I should neon commission Grin

Have a look at Hobbs clearance and Austin Reed sales. You will probably need to try in Austin Reed stuff as it is a very generous cut. Both can also be quite cheap from eBay.

Saw a lovely navy shift dress today in..... (wait for it)......Per Una.

Yes, really. Nice length, short sleeves, neat zip pockets. Sorry I can't link, you should be able to find it.

I love this shop, it's round the corner from my office and their dresses are lovely, a bit vintage-y. This is nice:
