Help! How to dye me hair?

I must have thrown away the leaflet and google search wasn't satisfying. I have Live Colour XXL that washes out in 6 to 8 washes. Usually I use the permanent one and only got this one to brighten up the shade in between the proper dying.

So do I need to wash my hair first then?

Don't know about Live Colour but generally the rule is with semi-permanent you wash first & with permanent you don't.

Actually it doesn't really matter either way. The reason they tell you not to wash your hair first with permanent is that you are more likely to get an allergic reaction to the stronger peroxide mix in permanent colour if you have just washed your hair as your scalp is more sensitive then.

Don't wash. Use on dirty hair as the grease protects the scalp but not if its covered in hairspray etc. As its already coloured do the roots for 20 mins and ends for 10 mins. 30 mins total.
