Just it really, would really like some tips to stop hair dye fading.
Had blonde hair, tryed to dye it reddish brown several times without success, just kept fading outConfused, now it's dark brown and an even coverage atlast.
Is there anything i can do between dying it every 4 weeks that will keep it a strong colour?

Reds always wash out or fade quickly :(
if you have a high percentage of grey, mix some of your natural colour with it & don't use shampoos like head & shoulders, they are known for stripping out colour!

Use a non SLS shampoo, and cooler water when washing, should help a lot. L'oreal do one that sells in Sainsburys.

You could also try buying little tubes of post dye conditioner (clairol sell them) and use those once or twice a week; it can help seal the colour in a bit more.
