I have a personal shopping apt booked tomorrow at House of Fraser and have about £400 to spend.

What should I get? My wardrobe needs a COMPLETE refresh.

I would get....any of the following

Cropped tapered slim legged trousers
A nice couple of dresses
Lightweight cardi
Skirt, patterned
Blouses tops that go with everything
Lightweight scarf for artful flinging
Patterned lightweight spring coat, maybe a trenchy thing
For feet- half decent ballet shoes or brogues

BUT it depends on your style of course!

Ruprekt · 23/02/2013 18:41

I think i need to do the same and book an appointment. I need to get my hair done too!

Cybbo · 23/02/2013 18:42

Is house of Fraser your best bet do you think?

OrchidFlakes · 23/02/2013 18:57

I'm currently on mat leave but work is über fashionable (going back at the end of summer).

I have £250 voucher for HoF so need to in est some there! I'm in London so it's a big one.

I like your list cybbo loving the idea of a linen t shirt too.

I definitely want/need some colour as I'm the queen if the white t shirt hides breast milk puke any top tips for colour? I'm fair skinned, brown hair, bright blue eyes,,,?

I've got similar colouring to you, I love bright orange. There are some fab colours around, look in GAp, Uniqlo, even river island had a cracking emerald green spring jumper that I was covetting

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/02/2013 19:18

I'd get:

trousers as Cybbo says
a couple of silk t-shirts (hard to track down but uber-useful)
bronze or tan ballet flats
a couple of lightweight scarves
a cotton/silk mix jumper
a blazer and/or cropped trench
jersey dresses

OrchidFlakes · 23/02/2013 19:58

Some fab ideas. Thank you. Loving the sound if the emerald jumper and silk t's

My spring list is:

straight leg jeans
moccasins
couple of bright knits
couple of bright scarves
crisp cotton shirt

last year I got a trench, nice bag and nice sunglasses, so at least this year I don't need to spend as much

Ruprekt · 23/02/2013 22:28

I need jeans and some trousers.

I love navy linen trousers in spring.
