Hi, I'm wearing this dress tonight

I was going to wear it with some nude peep toes but it's cold and i haven't got a jacket to match if i do. So I'm wearing it with some black peep toes and have a little black jacket but I'm struggling with the make up side of things.
I've got my nails and toenails painted red and i don't know whether to go the whole hog and wear red lipstick. Originally i was going to go dark on the eyes and keep the lips nude but I'm not sure to go plainer on the eyes and have red lips. I'm blonde and don't wear red very often, in fact i always wear black and have a black dress out ready too lol! Hence why I'm getting all in a tizz about this....well that and the fact I and hardly ever go out.
It is for a friends surprise birthday meal and drinks with a lot of people i don't know so I'm a bit nervous about it all anyway.
