Evening all, bought some of this today and wondered if anyone had any tips for applying it?

I remember watching my DM doing her eyelashes in the 70s and it looked terrifying but thought today it would be nice to have dark lashes. Am a bit worried my eyes will melt away.

I use it. Start with a tiny bit on the wand, and apply to the tops of your upper eyelashes. DO NOT get it in your eyes, stings like hell :) ,Keep cotton buds handy to wipe up mistakes straightaway or you get panda eyes.

Thanks Mrs. Am going to leave it until tomorrow as I am still a bit chicken Grin.

I get mine done in a salon but they always wipe a little bit of Vaseline under and above my eyes first and then put a damp cotton wool pad under each eye. I assume it's to stop any stray bits of dye dying my skin.

Good luck!Smile

I dye my own lashes and posted a big how-to post here quite recently :)

I use a cotton bud to apply the dye, & I do 1 eye at a time.
Takes twice as long, but at least I can still see!

I do mine and found that the dye does not stick on my skin. I use it on eyebrows and lashes but find it needs at least 10 mins on lashes but no more than five on brows.
you need to ensure that the topsides of your upper lashes are coated as they seem to be the lightest bits.
