Cheap products for dry skin?

Since having dc2 my hands have become horribly dry. It's all the hand-washing I think.

I have used the Body Shop hemp hand protector before and love it. But at £10 a pop I can't afford it at the rate I'd get through it.

Normal handcreams don't do much- and strongly scented ones irritate the chapped skin (they are REALLY dry).

Any recommendations for a heavy duty bargain cream? I don't mind old school and unglamorous- just want soft hands!

Thanks

This

It smells gorgeous and really does the trick on dry skin patches. I use it all the time as hand cream and even on my face as a night cream - my skin is lovely by the next morning. DH gets really dry cracked skin on his hands when he's working outdoors - the coconut oil works better than the stuff he was prescribed by the docs Smile

Great- thanks! And fab that I could use it on my face too. Think will nip to boots later...

Smile You're welcome.

It's quite greasy when you first put it on but it sinks in really well.
