La Roche Posay - I tried it and it's fab!

I've heard Pinot ( and others!) bang on about this stuff on S and B but never tried it.I found myself in Lloyds Chemist last week and had a good rummage through their huge selection and ended up getting the cream for flaky skin - it's like the BEST moisturiser you can possibly imagine, it glides on and all your redness and flaky 'post cold nose skin' just disappears. It's paraben free and for sensitive skin so not full of nasties.

I went back today and bought the shower wash, cleansing lotion and moisturiser for rosacea - VERY lovely, helpful assistant suggested what would be good AND she gave me some free samples too!

While I was there someone else came up and bought some cream and said 'Oh this is great stuff, you'll love it!' - wonder if she was a mumsnetter? Wink

Sorry for the enthusiasm but this really is good stuff and not too pricey either.

:)

Have to say actually, the anthelios sunscreen does break me out, but it's the only thing in the range that hasn't agreed with me. As well as the Efflaclar and Cicaplast ranges, I also love their toners, the eye cream and the micellar cleanser. The foundation is good too.

fuckinginanelevator - My skin is a bit like that. Oily, but ageing and wrinkly/dry in places. I use the Efflaclar K or Duo in the day time, under my make up, which has basically cleared up my spots and blackheads. At night time I use the Cicaplast all over my face - not every night, maybe 2 or 3 times a week, especially in winter - this helps with the dehydration and wrinkles, it also doesn't clog my pores back up again or cause spots. On the nights I'm not using Cicaplast, I use plain old Rosehip oil.

I also alternate with the physiological soothing toner, and the efflaclar atringent toner, which also really helps my skin.

Another LRP fan! I have found the lipikar range amazing for dry skin (body) and used the cream on my tummy during pregnancy. No stretch marks :)

I have sensitive skin and have found their face scrub and moisturisers very good. The post-helios after sun is fantastic.

Yup. I recommend LRP

I use the cicaplast on my baby's dry face - the paediatrician recommended it. Interesting to know it is cheaper in the UK I will stock up next time I go.

The micellar cleanser is my holy grail cleanser! I'm keen to try other products now. Which is the eye cream? Is there only one?

Well I have been using the shower gel and it has transformed my sensitive skin, I can't even use aqueous cream normally but this stuff is amazing!

Love the cleanser and my next purchases will be toner and a heavy duty night cream and possibly the body cream if I can get a 3 for 2 offer!

How funny, picked up 6 samples of this in a chemist yesterday - off to have a play!

armagh. I'd like to know that as well. I have dry skin but get breakouts and have found Efflaclar M really good. However it's meant for oily skin! I expect I'd get even better results with another LRP product.

does anyone think that the Effaclar K would be good to get rid of tiny blackheads on my snout?
anyone tried it?

I've just bought some LRP Micellar water to try as have heard such good things about it for make up removal

blimey, just read the reviews. maybe not.

Haven't read the reviews, but Effaclar K has absolutely helped me with my blackhead problem. You could try the Effaclar Duo first? That is the treatment product, whereas Efflaclar K is supposed to be used afterwards as maintenance. I love the K though, as I found the Duo a bit much over long term. Off to read the reviews now . . .

QuinnFabray · 24/02/2013 17:19

these reviews on makeupalley are more varied and balanced - not to mention there's 194 of them.

I LOVE Effaclar K, I'm a product junkie and this is one of the few products I repurchase again and again. It's completely sorted my skin out. I use it as a day time moisturiser.

My cicaplast has just arrived. i do SA peels once month and get bad flakey skin afterwards.

In the day I use a facial oil and then moisturiser and a primer for spf. Where should I fit cicaplast into my routine? Shall I skip the facial oil while I'm using it?

I've got (had!) a horrible spotty, congested chin (40 year old, nice) made a million times worse by recent bereavement and associated stress. The Effaclar K stuff has worked a MIRACLE, a miracle I tells you. I've almost got a normal chin again. Nose was looking a bit ropey too, and it's SO much better now. I've only been using the stuff since Friday! amazing. Have just ordered loads, I never want to run out!

I have been using their products for only 3 days.

My husband said to me this morning "wow, Sam, are you doing something differently to your skin? you look really refreshed and healthy"

He didn't know I was using new products.
