Coconut Oil Question

I am thinking of buying some organic coconut oil to use as make-up remover. As it is solid, do i just take a small amount and warm in my hand to loosen prior to using? Or do you use it in it's solid form like a butter?

rub a small amount in hand first.

Good plan - it works extremely well for me, and my skin is absurdly picky! You need a blob the size of a 20p coin, just rub it between your hands and it will turn into a clear oil. It's hard to get out of the jar at first, but once you've used it a couple of times it gets much easier. I'd recommend that you ensure that the C/O you buy is cold-pressed (it'll say on the label), as I've heard that the other kind is likely to clog pores.

It works really well as a make up remover, much better than any "proper" makeup remover I've used.
