Choose me a perfume sample please....

I'm not a big perfume wearer mainly because there are so few I like, but the time has come to find a wearable selection. I dont have a clue, so can you point me towards some please? I'm looking at Scent and Sensibility as samples seem a good start.

I've got a really sensitive sense of smell unfortunately, if its one I dont like it will make me retch Sad In terms of good smells : lemon, lime, all citrus really, apples, other fruit, so fresh light smells. Oh and vanilla too. Ones that can make me heave include anything heavy, particularly floral (esp rose) or musky.

Fave of all time is Eau de Givenchy, but that is almost impossible to get now. Can wear CK1 too. Would you be able to suggest some samples to try or is there no hope for me?

Thank you Smile

Join the perfumistas thread and scroll back to the hesperides (=citrus colognes) I suggested to MyOldSlag. Annick Goutal for example have quite a few decent ones (check Les Senteurs for samples).

Try Petitgrain by Miller Harris.

I use Acqua di Gioia by Armani which is a sort of lemony/minty/peppery smell. It's my favourite perfume and i like similar scents to what you described. I only use 2-3 sprays and it lasts all day, and a 100ml bottle lasts me around 6 months. Try looking up smells you like on Fragrantica.com, you should be able to get a few suggestions and then be able to order samples from somewhere Smile

Thank you for those suggestions, I'll def be trying them out.
