I think it's called rapid lash - is that the best one?

Has anybody found it works? And is it something I could get cheaper in America? (My dads on hol there now and asking what I'd like brought back).

And one last question, is it safe to use when pregnant or bfing?

Thank you!

Yes it works and makes a noticeable difference very quickly IMO. Don't know the price of it in the States and don't see why you can't use it if preg or breast feeding though check the small print on the box

dunno re USA but its ace

Earlybird · 16/02/2013 16:17

The only brand I have heard of in the States is Latisse (spokeswoman Brooke Shields, no less).

It does work, but is very expensive. Also, you have to apply regularly or lashes will slowly revert back to previously sparse condition.

I tried rapid lash but was allergic to it.

overbythere · 16/02/2013 18:18

I tried rapidlash. I think it was the real deal from Boots as it was expensive, about £40. However, it definitely works. I have always had stubby eyelashes; now they are long and I use a gloopy mascara so they look even thicker and longer.

sunnysunnyshine · 16/02/2013 18:40

Thanks all.

The reviews look good but do your lashes go back to normal as soon as you stop using it?

I used rapidlash and the difference is incredible. Lashes were short and sparse and are now long and curly. :) I use it twice a week now (if I remember!) to keep them like that.

FaffTastic · 16/02/2013 19:11

Well your lashes have a cycle life so I guess you have to keep using it as old lashes fall off and new lashes grow through so yeah, unfortunately it's not a use one tube and have forever long lashes scenario

BelindaCarlisle · 16/02/2013 19:11

this thread has made me reactivate

sunnysunnyshine · 16/02/2013 19:20

Thanks Milchardo...Having to use just twice a week isn't too bad. I just didn't like the idea of having to use it every day indefinitely to keep it up... I'm lazy! Grin

How long does tube last if you use twice a week? Tempted.

MoodyDidIt · 16/02/2013 21:05

it definitely worked for me

its expensive though, i recently bought the no7 version which is slightly cheaper but it isn't as good IMO, although have noticed my lashes are slightly better. but with the rapidlash my lashes were unbelievable. and it worked so quick./ god knows whats in it Confused

Wiggletastic · 16/02/2013 21:37

I use Rapidlash and it definitely works, longer and thicker lashes within 4 to 6 weeks of using it everyday. I now use it two to three times a week as maintenance. One tube lasts about 3 months if used everyday.

MyGlassIsJustHalfWet · 16/02/2013 21:48

Would it work on eyebrows? To grow them back if over plucked I mean. Don't fancy long eyebrowsHmm

FaffTastic · 16/02/2013 22:18

You can get eyebrow growth serum but I reckon you could use the eyelash serum on brows too as well as lashes to save forking out on an additional tube at £££. It's probably the same stuff anyway

BelindaCarlisle · 17/02/2013 08:48

ages jump

when you STOP though it reverts :(

MadameCastafiore · 17/02/2013 08:56

It's brilliant and cheaper from amazon.

Mavala do one that you can use for your brows. You can get it from John Lewis and is very good.

noddyholder · 17/02/2013 08:58

Its great but you have to maintain it. I give myself a talking to now and again about why I can't seem to find 2 seconds before bed to sweep on a bit of liquid that cost me £50 but does work! Last summer i had lashes like bambi! Now just normal

BelindaCarlisle · 17/02/2013 09:04

right NOD
you and me both

noddyholder · 17/02/2013 09:20

I sometimes even glance at it and still don't do it. I am having a clear out today and am going to put it by bed with mirror Yes I am!!!!!!!!!!

BelindaCarlisle · 17/02/2013 09:23

It's on my bedside table fgs. We need to text

noddyholder · 17/02/2013 09:32

I am playing cat and mouse with mine I think Grin It has become a 'thing' for me I just don't know why I can't do it esp knowing it works and I like the effect

cashmere · 17/02/2013 10:49

Do you use it at the base of eyelashes but on actual hair only or along the skin at the base of eyelashes?

noddyholder · 17/02/2013 10:59

base of lashes in a line like eyeliner The one i use is like water I didn't really think it would do much!
