Please could you help me find a dress for my son's christening?

DS christening is in less than 2 months and plan lose a stone is not working out.

I havent been to many christenings so don't really know what the mother would normally wear- I'm thinking like you would wear to a wedding? I've been looking on Coast and nothing at all has grabbed me but that may be because I know I would look like a sack of spuds in some of the beautiful dresses. And they just seem so far removed from my life as a mum now, I can't imagine myself wearing something so glam looking the way I do at the minute. Anyway, puty party over.

I am 30 and I am 5 foot 1 and size 14 with a disproportionately large (post-CS) tummy. That is to say without my tummy I would be a size 12, my tummy means even some 14 dresses don't fit. budget is £100 no more esp if I need shoes/jacket too. We are going to a wedding the week after the christening so would like the outfit to do double duty.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

I would try cos. They have some lovely dresses in that price range. Not too fussy either. Sorry - dont know how to link properly.
