Can anyone recommend a good face serum? I have used Boots no7 one but found it a bit drying.

I like the Soap and Glory ones and L'Oreal Youth Code serum is good too. The best ever was Prescriptives until Lauder killed the brand off still sulking

I love the new Simply Pure range from Superdrug. I use the products with the blue labels, they are for dehydrated skin. My skin is much softer and a bit plumper since using the serum twice a day under moisturiser. And it costs a whole two pounds 99p!

Aldi's Lacura Multi Intensive Serum, the anti-ageing/wrinkle one. Forget the others, this one is a miracle in a bottle & only about £3.99. I won't use anything else.

Lancome's Visionaire is really nice but rather expensive. They've just brought out a Visionaire Foundation, this week, which is gorgeous and contains the serum at about 50% of the strength so it still treats your skin. It also comes with a concealer built into the lid so you can get more cover where you need it. I think the foundation is £35. Again, pricey but 3 products in 1.

Estee Lauder advanced night repair serum is very good.

I like the aldi one, I can't use it on my face as I'm too sensitive but it's evened out the skin tone on my neck so it matches my face again, plus it's got rid of a wrinkle I had coming there.

I use the night cream too.

Are you using a moisturiser over the serum? I never used to because I felt too greasy but I've now switched to a lighter moisturiser and its all feels much nicer, apparently you should always use a moisturiser over a serum, the lady at Dior told me so. I use the boots no 7 one and have done for years, have had samples of Lancôme Visionnaire and Dior both very nice but I bet very expensive.

I'm another aldi fan . Have used all sorts of the years but this is by far the best . I've had loads of compliments on my skin and now two friends use it too .
