can anyone recommend a good mascara for my pretty much non existent eyelashes. They are thin and quite short so would like a mascara to thicken and lengthen. thanks

No help I'm afraid but eager to see what is suggested. I often see recommendations for Maybelline but there are so many different kinds I'm too nervous to buy one Sad

Max factor is my fav! The good old 2000 calorie or the masterpiece are both really good. Iv tried a few of rimmels but just don't like them. If you have the money to splurge then get a dior one, they're about £20 but Sooo amazing!

L'oreal lash architect is brilliant for length and volume.

I have tried everything for my carport lashes but my favourite is ysl faux cils I always end up going back to this one. A budget one is maybelline cat eyes it's pretty good.

Carport? Crappy

I love calorie 2000 by max factor, it is brilliant.

My eyelashes are very sparse but this seems to make them magically appear.

Superdrug are doing 3for2 on Max Factor so stocked up today

agree with comments above - definitely max factor 2000 calorie mascara. Best by far and I hope to god they never change the formula or the brush. Hate those new spiky plastic brushes on other newer pricey gimmicky mascaras.

others I'd consider after max factor one are Benefit Bad Gal (only cos they have a plum coloured one) and Clinique dark brown/black (in green tube).

don't like the popular maybelline great lash as it dries on my lashes really quickly/becomes too hard and is too harsh/chemically smelling.

L'Oreal Voluminous works well for me.

Lancome Hypnose. The original one not Doll Eyes or any of the others. Makes lashes long (even for those with not much lash) thick and it comes off easily, no stinging or scrubbing. Expensive but worth it.

That is all.
