I tried the tweed-y Next one and didn't like it at all.

Where else can I look? Either navy or grey. I am a 12 btw.

Ends Sat 9 march. I agree about returns but weirdly I am OK with it if its free postage to start ... Funny isn't it how quickly we've got used to free returns as 'standard'

Windowbasket · 03/03/2013 11:10

I have just ordered this - £44 and free delivery www.atterleyroad.com/willow-boyfriend-jacket-4.html

Annianni · 04/03/2013 14:10

My grey Whistles jacket is here and I love it. It's a better fit than the hush one on me.

I just wish they did it in navy too.

EarlyInTheMorning · 04/03/2013 14:19

Annianni what's the fit like?

Annianni · 04/03/2013 14:34

I'm a good size 14 with boobs and a small belly. The size 16 fits me perfectly Early.

Someone will be along who'll say the sizing is huge though, and then i'll feel crap :o

A word of warning though...I just returned something to kaliko and as they delivered the dress I a giant cardboard box (who does that?!) I had to pay 6quid to return it in said box. I would never pay £6 for delivery normally so feel slightly ripped off!

AlisonMoyet · 05/03/2013 21:11

The whistles one came

IT'S DISGUSTING. Cheap boxy and conservative candidate wifey

The dark grey Zara one I'd had on was way better

AlisonMoyet · 05/03/2013 21:11

Plus the colour!! What on earth possessed me

snoworneahva · 05/03/2013 22:08

Odd - the Zara one looks cheap to me and the whistles one looks better - have decided that the whistles one doesn't fit properly - baggy around my shoulders. I might have to order a smaller size.

Dancergirl · 08/03/2013 09:28

I quite like the Whistles one! Waiting for navy Hush one now to compare!

I've worn my Whistles one and it's great. There is room in the boob and waist area.
The size smaller would have probably fit, but I didn't want that snug jacket look.

I'd definitely buy it in other colours in the future.

SilverSixpence · 08/03/2013 09:46

I bought BUTTON BLAZER this from Pull and Bear. The cut is great and the colour is a nice neutral for spring. The only thing is that the fabric isn't that soft for jersey but it's the best one I've found at that price.

upinthehills · 09/03/2013 15:43

If you contact them John Lewis should price match Kaliko, and you can return to a JL store for free. Just returned the Kaliko one to JL today - fabric looked like it was covered in lint and sleeves had funny bits at the wrist that made them flare out and it looked odd. It sizes big - I went for 12 and am a 12/14 normally.

Dancergirl · 11/03/2013 12:52

I didn't like the Hush one at all, completely shapeless.

OP posts:
Annianni · 11/03/2013 13:11

I've just sent the Hush biker jacket back. It was nice, but too short for me.

Dancergirl · 12/03/2013 13:42

Just been to Zara and bought their jersey blazer in dark grey. It's lovely, nice cut and good fit.

Sending the Whistles one back now.

Really recommend the Zara one and it comes in loads of colours.

OP posts:
Sonotkylie · 12/03/2013 15:23

Kaliko one went back here too. I looked too much like Mrs Thatcher. Like the zara one online but when I was looking I found a 'jogging blazer'. Can anyone tell me what a jogging blazer might be? Its about the only time I could say definitively I don't need a blazer

snoworneahva · 12/03/2013 17:23

I ended up sizing down on the Whistles one and buying a jersey biker - both in grey....I couldn't decide between them.

oxcat1 · 17/03/2013 11:56

Do you think there is any chance in a month of Sundays that I could get away with this? I'm a size 8/10 and was thinking of aged 16 (although 15 better fit according to their size guide). Not sure about a peplum blazer. Does it just make you look very 'hippy'?

snoworneahva · 17/03/2013 13:33

I like it, definitely worth a try.
