and help me choose.

I currently have a Longchamps pliage in brown, a Radley pocket across the body, and a Radley grab bag with handles and also an across body strap but it's very boxy and I'm not in love with it.

Ideally I want a bag that has grab handles and a long strap- I have very small shoulders and find that hanging onto a shoulder bag is very tiring ( city walking/shopping) . I don't go out to the office so tend to wear smart casual all day with smarter coats over jeans etc.

Would you like to advise on which style bag- across body, grab or shoulder?

I am looking at these- I did order the last one on list in shale but sent back because it felt as if it was slipping off my shoulder all the time though the leather was lovely.

I'm on a never ending search for the perfect handbag, with grab handles and a shoulder strap. I like the second one you linked to best. These are a few othes I like.....
bit formal
bit boxy
from america
probably what I'm going to get

They are all nice- I can't see any images for the one from the US- just on the side bar.

I like the Longchamps but have 2 issues with it 1) the cost- £200 is really my limit because I can't justify spending more and 2) my pilage drives me nuts because everything gets lost at the bottom and I can never find anything- phone, purse, keys etc. as there is no inside pocket.

Re. the Radley Grosvenor- I like it too but can't decide if a X body bag eventually makes your neck ache with the weight.....

I am trying to limit the size and weight so I just carry purse, phone, minimal make up, keys and sometimes a Kindle.

I have seen the Whistles bag in RL- it's nice but the clasp is very odd- you have to turn it to fasten the bag and it only just fastens it- it's very insecure. If that had been different I'd have bought it.

that leather lepliage has got pockets, unlike the nylon one. It's lined, and it has one large ziped pocket on one side, and another smaller phone sized pocket on the other.

I bought two of the totes in leather in the sale and I've used one or other every day since - I can't recommend them enough!

I like the Grosvenor best out of your shortlist, but I think you should really try the Longchamps first

Hmmm the Longchamp ticks lots of boxes so might have a look Shock Cannot decide between the taupe ( looks mid brown to me) or the camel- looks pale on my screen. Any ideas?

What I like about the nylon Pliage is that it weighs nothing empty- can't bear lugging heavy bags around and have a dropped shoulder due to this in past Shock

that's exactly the same reason I like the Longchamp - because it weighs nothing. There isn't much difference between the leather and the nylon in weight.

I have the taupe, and the black. I think I saw the camel but I thought it might be a bit stain-prone. The taupe is really nice - it's hard to describe the shade - it's different in different lights - not chocolate - it's a really curious, interesting shade (in a good way)
